Amandine Miquel made four changes after their 2-0 loss to Manchester United, with Sam Tierney and Shana Chossenotte dropping to the bench. CJ Bott and Hlín Eiríksdóttir both miss out due to injury.

Chelsea were awarded with another free kick just outside the box. Macario took it again, sending the ball just wide of the net. (44’)
Six minutes of additional time were added, which saw both sides fighting for a goal. Julie Thibaud made an impressive block to stop the blues doubling their lead, and Millie Bright’s header just missed her own goal as she defended an effort from Hannah Cain.

Leicester continued to press Chelsea, intercepting short passes and mistakes.
Miquel made changes to her side, bringing on Deanne Rose and Nelly Las for Shannon O’Brien and Missy Goodwin. (66’)
But it wasn't until Erin Cuthbert was brought on in the 70th minute that the game began to change. Chelsea were now full of energy and started on their brutal attack against Leicester.
Cuthbert hit the ball from distance, a magnificent strike that unluckily hit the crossbar!
Leicester made their final substitutions in the 81st minute, Hannah Cain and Janice Cayman made way for Shana Chossenotte and Sam Tierney. They pushed for another goal, hoping to come away with a draw as they did on their home leg against Chelsea.

With just 4 minutes of normal time left, Cuthbert was finally awarded with a goal. Niamh Charles layed the ball out and Cuthbert fired it past the keeper and into the net. (86’)
