Everton are making moves this transfer window, clearly determined to get out of the relegation zone. They just can’t stop signing!!!
A stand out signing is Scottish international Emma Watson on loan from Manchester United for the remainder of the season.
At just 18 years old, Watson is already proving what she’s made of since returning from her ACL injury.
In her debut for Manchester United, she scored her first goal. Watson already has 8 appearances for the senior Scottish national team and has scored 8 goals for them.
This transfer is going to do wonders for Watson as a player, as well as helping to boost Everton’s attack.
Everton have also signed Hayley Ladd from Manchester United for 18 months with an optional one year extension. The Welsh international is bound to bring loads of experience to the Everton side.
Everton are focusing on developing their young talents. Young stars Issy Hobson and Ellie Jones have joined Sheffield United on loan for the remainder of the season.
Macy settle has rejoined Blackburn Rovers on a dual registration for the remainder of the season. This is to help the youngsters gain more exposure to senior football.
Martina Fernandez is a Spanish international who plays for their under 23s side. She has been loaned to Everton from Spanish side Barcelona.
Fernandez has already made 27 appearances for Barcelona since her debut in 2022, scoring 3 goals. Her dynamic playing style will be an asset to Everton.
Most recently, Louna Ribadeira the rising French star, joined on loan from Chelsea.
Ribadeira signed for Chelsea in August 2024 but has yet to make her debut due to spending the first half of the season on loan with her former club Paris FC.
On the 31st of May 2024, the young forward made her senior debut for France in a 2-1 win over England.
Everton are a club to watch for the second half of the season, and the signings could just be enough to stop them creeping back into the relegation zone.
